I have to do an engineering and design project for school nest semester. Basiclly I have to build something. I was wondering if anyone could direct me to some plans for a 10/11 meter or 2 meter amp. I don't care if they are free or cost some money.

i dont know the url, but its something like cbcintl.com
they are owned by a man named lou franklin, and the amp plans they sell are good quality.
they also sell all kinds of books and kits.

i am putting a tx 100 amp inside a 29ltd classic have everything done except where to hook the 2 wires that go to radio ,antenna need help |

all you are doing is adding the jumper cable from radio to amp-
use a piece of rg58 coax, keep as short as possible, keep shield as close to end near center conductor as possible.
1- @ so239 socket on rear of radio, remove wires inside & replace with rg58 going to INPUT side of amp where ITS so239 was.
2- then take another piece of rg58 & go from where amps s0239 output WAS & connect that to radio's so239.
3- double check you went to right places.
4- double check again!
5- apply power & check swr's.
6- get a small/high cfm computer fan or 2, drill or cut cooling holes in radio case & mount fans(unfortunately only room on OUTSIDE of radio)in pull/pull or push/pull configuration to remove a LOT of heat. increase wire guage on fans & ALL should go directly to power source. if using as a base, make sure power supply is capable of running fans. you'd be surprised how much 2 of 'em can draw. |

I've been doing the same thing with a KL203 in an XL that I have. Big rigger let me know how yours turns out. |

no problem....it's a lot of hassle for 'hiding' an amp, but a couple people i know work for a company that only allows 'stock, legal' CB's, no extras. & amp-under-the-radio types(like 95t) won't fit. |
