hello all
While performing npc mod on philippine 148 gtl,all went well until i tried to set final bias. Iam not able to raise the setting above 9.5ma using vr8 thats a far cry from the required 100ma. the driver bias adjusted properly to 50ma using vr9. the radio works perfect but im afraid to put the final bias wire to 12 volt supply untill i set final bias. this is the third 148 i have modded and the first i have had problems with. any ideas?
I sure would appreciate any and all input.

Never mind, I changed the value r179 to 500 ohms and now it adjusted perfectly, thanks anyway.
