Well folks , Plant Shutdown where I work is SOON!!! Thursday is my last day for 18 big ones...I will be doing more on the Forum because we (wife and kids) have NO plans..Yee-Hi...

I want to do the year end thanks to Chet for everything he has done. This Forum rocks and everyone knows it because of him. Without Copper...well I don't want to go there...Thanks Chet for the "hats" you finally sent me...I wear them to Universal Studios ALL the time (we hold the family record to most consecutive Saturdays straight..."93")and actually had someone stop me on one occasion and ask if I knew Copper...Long story short , I was chatting for 2 hours...

I want to thank "Valerie" , "Suzanne" and "Melanie" for expediting things I need fast and a big thanks to them for putting up with me...

I want to thank "Tech 808" , "Tech 833" , "Tech 671" , "Tech 181" , and "Moderator 558" for all the MASSIVE help. You guys are the best of the best.

I want to thank Paul , Well for being Paul. He has become my brother. He spends a couple days with me when he comes to Florida for his vacations and we can talk for ever and never get tired. I left our meeting one night after 2:00A.M. and had to work the next morning...What a blast! He calls me at work just like family. Matter of fact the guys in my shop at the plant know him by name...

Tips and Tricks has been a huge success for the ones who want to work on their own radios.

Over plant shutdown I am going to perform ESS screening on two new Galaxy radios. That is going to be my fun...

Thanks to ALL of you for being part of this Forum. Without you , there would be none...

Cheers

307,
Thanks to you and all the folks you already mentioned. Can you give us an idea which 2 Galaxys that you'll be testing? As a forum member I appreciate all the "tech work" and experienced advice that you guys pass on to us. Happy Holidays and Enjoy!

The 93T and the 48T are getting 12 cycles of EES (temp tests) from -15C to +50C (20 minutes each end)with one minute ON (TX with full mod (1Khz)) and one minute OFF. I do this where I work and it is a mega $$$$ setup for missiles. I did a Galaxy DX-88 already. Peak the DX-88 ALL YOU WANT! It worked flawless PLUS I did a meltdown on it at +50C with TX on ...It lasted over 14 minutes...Don't let anyone tell you Galaxy radios do not hold up when peaked. They can't even come close to the test environment that I use...

307,
How about a sneak preview of your findings?
I know that there's more than one of us interested in how the 93T survived... Thanks!
