Does anyone have this radio and if so how do they like it? Does it do the advertised wattage they claim or more? |

CM 3885 morning, the radio is really a great unit, the power that they state is true in my case, it has the three stages of power on AM. and then more on pep from each, ssb is great, you will not need an amp, but if you want one the Texas star 1600 or the 1200 is the ones that are the best, but you don't need one. The radio after warming up stays on frequency, Modulation I am told is great, ask DX 431, or 340, I have talked to them, if you want more info e mail me ok. |

Tech 671, yes it is a fine radio and with the copper 93t and the copper Astatic D104 M6C it really is fun to run. |

Hello folks, Why doesn't this rig do all of what a 2290 pill will do? 90 watts plus? Sounds like a new Lincoln can almost do the same thing, the one with the 455 final. |

Hmm my AR Ranger 3500 uses (2) 2290s in the amp section and i get anywere between 195 and 225 watts pep swing on SSB and a carrier of 30 watts and a swing of about 175 to 200 on AM... |
