Streaky,

We LOVE our Ranger RCI-2995DX with the Ranger Dual Fan Kit.

Nice and Quiet with PLENTY of POWER!

It has worked flawlessly for well over 3 years now with NO PROBLEM's.

And we use the JCD-201M Desk Microphone on it also with NO PROBLEM's and "GREAT" AUDIO REPORT's of "VERY LOUD AND VERY CLEAR" from well over 50 other CEF Radio Club Member's we have talked with on AM,FM,LSB & USB.

Hope this help's,

I love my 2995dx base! I also use the fan
kit on it. Have had it about 3 years now with
no problems.

I just got one a few months ago. the new versions have the power supply reworked. Much more heavy duty. There are no signs of the display fading when you are transmitting and it also has a built in fan on the power supply section.
