Gayle,
The +3 is a 4 wire mic and the +3b is a 6 wire mic.Both have the same identical amp inside.

i have the turner +3b wired to the 88 galaxy and i am getting good reports back on it a great mic
and all it cost me was $4.50 postage

The difference between the T3 and the T3B are, the T3 does not seem to work on some of the newer electronic switching radios, the T3B has extra contacts in the mic , as a result has 6 wires to make it work with electronic switching necessary to switch between RX and TX, there used to be a switch kit available at one time to to make the T3 work on the newer radios with electronic switching

huh thats funny my turner plus 3 works great
with my superstar3900.use it all the time
on thne cef nets on sunday.anyone that heard
'cef426'me can vouch works with mine.pretty sure
its a 6 wire cord
