I noticed that this radio has FM freq. What FM freq. range does this radio cover also if modified for 11 meters , do you lose 10 meter coverage ?

Riverrat, FM is not a separate frequence, it's a different 'mode', like am and ssb. Any channels or frequency you have, has the FM mode, AM mode, and SSB mode, if it has all these capabilities. If you are on say channel 19 am mode(27.185), and switch to fm mode, your still on channel 19(27.185). It just takes another radio with FM mode to talk to you, although you can understand fm to am pretty good. There is a 1 kHz shift for USB and LSB off center frequency on the later radios, it was 1.5 kHz on the older ones. Scrapiron
