I've got a Silver Eagle 350 and 200 amp with MRF 455 pills in them. Can I use these with a dual final radio like a RCI 2950 old style? and if so how should I drive it?

yes, CAUTIOUSLY. the 200 is probably a 2x455, & the 350 a 4x455. if using AM, turn RADIO power to LOWEST point, & AM & SSB back mic gain way down. turn amp on, key up, & adjust radio power til 200 keys about about 30-35 watts or 350 keys about 65-70. then adjust mic gain til 200 swings to about 150, or 350 swings to about 250-AM or SSB. watch amp for heat. |
