hello,
where is the audio chip located in these? is it the flat chip mounted to the right side of the chassis? with speaker side up. has a bolt thrugh it with heat sink compound. pins are in line probably 8 or 10 pin? is this it?
my trouble is great carrier but no audio or receive. before it went out. it had extremly loud receive for a day or two, then nothing. volume would be all the way down and sound like 2/3 up. you think the audio chip crashed?
thanks

nevermind i fixed it. it was a crappy install on the ic chip from the factory. the pins were barely soldered and a couple had vibrated loose. i resoldered them and all is well.
thanks
