How much FM power can I run to an antenna that is rated for 200 W? I have been told that an antenna with this rating can handle 200 W on SSB, but not on FM, my question is how much FM power can I run to this antenna safely.

I have a workman UVS300 17 foot vertical.

Wrk3,

If your antenna is rated for 200 watts then you can run up to 200 watts into it.

Antennas cannot tell the difference between AM/CW/FM/LSB or USB.

200 watts is 200 watts.

Hope this help's,

workman UVS300 is a very good antenna and you CAN run 200 watts into one. I ran 160 for over a year no problem but don't try to use it out on band in a very high SWR you might damage it even at the 160 watts.
On 6 since 66
