i have a astatic 636L wired up for a 4 pin cobra it works with no problem on my galaxy but when i hook it up to my cobra 29 it acts like the radio is keyed up and im not even touching the mic ive used the stock mic on both radios and they work fine and also used a roadking 56 and it worked fine could the astatic have a bad switch I checked the mic plug on the radio and mic have any ideas? |

Try desoldering the black wire to pin 4 on the 636L mic plug and see if that helps.
