I did came across a site that sells the 69FFC2 expanded and peaked. For the life of me i cannot remember which one. Bloody expensive, probably why i didn't save it into my favourites...lol. So i assume that there is a conversion for the 63's as well. I tried Googling everything to do with the 63's and 69's and came up with bugger all your honour apart from dealers etc. Might be too new for those in the know to have put anything up yet? Very nice looking bits of kit in either form.

Copper Electronics has the R10-10015 Ranger RCI 63FFC4 200W AM / 400W FM and you should see 2 little silver pads inside that you will need to short to get expanded coverage.
Let me check in the morning and I will post more information on exactly where the 2 pads are located that you will need to short out for expanded coverage.

With radio cover off and radio facing you bottom side UP towards the front LEFT hand side of the board you will see what looks like 2 small 1/8" batteries that look like metal discs.
They are called (JP3) but could not find JP3 marked on them.
Short them out and you should have the conversion.
NOTE!
I have not personally tried this conversion so if in doubt have a Ranger dealer do the frequency conversion for you.
