I have a friend who is selling me a Ranger 6900F. I was wondering if anyone had some info on this radio. Any kind of info will help, I have none on it. Tune up, power mods, what have you. Thanks!

BTW - Has anyone run this radio? If so, what did you think?

Same board as the Galaxy DX2517 and the Connex 4800 dxl. I think they are a little pricey.

Highlander: I would agree, if I were spending the cash for a new one. But this one is used. Not to old either, and the price is right!

I thought it was going to be like the 4800. but I was just checking to see if I was correct in my assumption.

Do you know anyone who has owned one?
