Has anyone used the Little Tar Heel2? If so I would like to know the good and the bad on how they really stack up. Are they worth buying?

had 1 mounted on my trailer hitch for about a month. i used an antenna switch between it & my mag mount after i questioned its performance. my 706mk2g made not 1 single contact on 6m with it, but with a hamstick copy, made a 1/2 dozen '4' contacts in an hour. had 6m e skip 3 or 4 other times & made no contacts with the tarheel 2. receive on 6m was extremely low copy as compared to the stick. on 10m & 12m, i had the SAME negative results. switching to my predator & 1.2:1 swr on 10m, made 90%+ of contacts i attempted with my magnum 257 and all but 1 or 2 i attempted with my 706. 10 meter e skip was probably 'there' 23 or 24 days in that time and i don't think i made more then 5 contacts on the tarheel yet made almost every attempt on the predator. on 12 meters, i only heard e skip a few times & made no contacts on the tarheel, but the predator with about 2.8:1 swr on 24.950 made 5 contacts off the magnum....45 watts before the poor swr losses. heard skip on 15 & had no luck at all, and heard next to nothing on 20, yet in the house it was cranking. and that was on the maco v5/8 tuned for 11m.
they made no attempt to resolve the poor performance-they didn't even offer advice with the assumption i might not know what i was doing. their 1st response was to send it back. they didn't even suggest spending more $$ on a different version. do they KNOW it is junk??? nearly $600 for the antenna & accessories they refunded quite handily....but it still cost nearly $80 for shipping 2 ways. i already have antennas for 6 & 10, the $80 would've bought me whips for 20, 15 & 12, and left me $20 for.....
