Keith391,

Without knowing which version/model of the S-9 you have I would suggest that you contact Sam Lewis (Owner) of Magnum International for warranty repair.

Any Magnum Radio or RF Limited product owner can call/contact Sam Lewis DIRECT with any Question's you may have on your Factory Warranty, Problems or Comment's at:

1-877-624-6869

or you can e-mail him direct with any Warranty or Repair question's at:

You are sure it is not the reverse polarity diode so how about the power cord fuse? Have you checked your power source for proper current? Also the radios power cord needs checked out so that is is working properly.
Other than that you would need test equipment and higher knowledge of the particular radio to find the problem.
Just like Lon said. You are probably better off to send the radio in to RF Limited for repair. Hopefully it is still under warranty if not I would still prefer a RF Limited tech to do the work right.I hear the customer service is outstanding and I would'nt be suprised if they took care of you on the cheap or free of charge. Unless you give them a call you will never know. For such a well designed radio I would get it fixed by the pros! GOOD LUCK!
