Streaky, Any OLDER radio Equipment is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. If I remember correctly the Browning S9 is only a 5 channel single tube transmitter. The favorite receiver that was used with it was the Browning R2700 Lon~Tech808 CEF#0808/HAM#001/CVC#0002 Tech808@copperelectronics.com

I'll be a bit of a hard #### on this .... LOL Don't spend money on something ILLEGAL .... ANY CB MADE BEFORE SEPT 1976 is ILLEGAL. If you want to expand your station look at what you need that would ADD to what it can do ... be it HAM OR CB just because something looks cool does not make it a good choice. I don't mess with the old stuff even though I do have some left over some more that 50 years old most have sat here 20+ years not even turned on. FACT IS old radios need too much work to be worth my time and few can hold a candle to what is out there today. Save your money and go get something nice ... and new. Just my thoughts Bruce On 6 since 66

Bruce, Stewart / Streaky does not live in the US and therefore is not bound by FCC rules. So it may be perfectly legal in Canada for him to purchase/use non fcc type certified equipment. Lon~Tech808 CEF#0808/HAM#001/CVC#0002 Tech808@copperelectronics.com
