I was going thru some boxes of old junk and came across a couple old noise toys and dont have a clue as to what color is what.
They are a cheaper made noise toy just a circuite board with heat shrink around them they have 5 wires Red,Black,Blue,Green and orange anybody have a clue what each is for?

Kzhorse, If you don't have a name of the builder with an item number then you have some guess work to do. The red wire is probably for power, could be 12 volts but some devices run on 8 volts. You have to find a power source in the radio somewhere and determine if the device needs a toggle installed or use an existing switch on the radio. Black wire could be a ground. The blue green and orange wires most likey could go to the audio pin of the mic connector, the ground pin of the mic connector and possibly to a potentiometer(like the rf gain control). You have some trial and error ahead but should'nt be to hard to figure out.
