OK, finally Echolink has let me down on my wife'sa XP machine. I am using Cable Broadband ISP and trying to log onto Echolink node causes a timeout error. Using Echolinks inbuilt troubleshooting routine it tells me "UPD ports failed."

Now if I go via dial-up, I can access Echolink.
I can access the Copper Voice Chat forum via Broadband.

Any suggestions??
