Was given a old Courier ML-100 tube amp. it uses 2 12JB6 tubes. It has tuning caps for 'antenna load' and 'plate tune' what are the tuning steps? I have not used a tube amp. for close to 20 years! old age, don't remember steps. I have a stock galaxy 959, what would be a good output setting to drive it? Full 4W, or turn it down? Any suggestions will be appreciated!

I would think it would be like most Amps, I would dead key at 2 watts then set the load and plate caps at the mid point range then key up in am adjust the plate for max reading then quickly adjust the load for max move the caps left or right to reach the peak. That should get it :-)
