right outb of box the mic gain does not work any suggestions before i take it back to wilmington dela where i bought it |

what exactly isnt it doing
1]wont turn down
2]wont turn up
before ya send it back check the gain on the
mic itself.on my omga if it turn it counterclockwise it turns it up works kinda backwards.

instructions say to key up mic and turn mic gain up on radio as the bar graph gets to the end and then turn it counter clock wise till the first graph just starts to flicker,but you cannot turn bar graph up or down same thing with the power knob |

the bar graph only shows modulation.so whiltle
or say hello into mic.the power knob it will NOT
move one way or the other at all.am i understanding this correctly.i hope someone
else chimes in here

both the knobs move clockwise and counterclockwise but the audio dont go up or down and same goes for the power |

ok.now whats your dk is it high or low.same for
audio is it low or too high.did ya try adjusting
the mic itself?if its turned down all the way
the radio wont have much if any audio.at least
this is what i found in my delta/and omega.i
think the radios out of tune.just my opinion
and if were ya bought at .says they did tune it
well i dont think so.id either send it back
to rflimited.com or a warranty service repair center.could also email sam lewis himself

took 257 back to store where i got and they could not fix it,so they gave me a new 1 right off the shelf and they hooked it up and it works like it supposed to.............. |

hi dale, worked in store(3-6-09)but today i went to hook it up in truck and it dont do NOTHING just stays on ch. 15. static coming thru speaker and nothing else......wont deal with this retailer again and i been going there for the last 4.5 yrs,well i will have to chalk this one up as a loss.will put this in the pile with the rest of the parts radios i got. cya and thanks |
