--Hi, all. Can anyone tell me what the transistor labeled "B827" does in the RCI 2950DX? I have this particular radio setup for beacon use on the 10 meter band and notice that this transistor gets quite hot if not fan cooled. Even after it is cooled by a fan, it's still fairly warm. Otherwise, the radio is running great. SWR is 1.1. 5 watts CW, 24 hours a day, the rest of the radio stays nice and cool. Thanks for any help.
