Just wondering if anyone has used the Ranger SRA-117 mic on there Ranger 2950 or 2970 radio? How do they sound over the air? I use a Astatic 575M6 or 636L mic on my 2970N2 and they work great. Just wondering how the echo effect is on this mic and the quality of the microphones audio?

Yes I have a Ranger SRA-117 Mic and LOVE it.

The NICE thing about it is that it does NOT need or require batteries as it draw's it's power from the radio.

I use mine with the echo in the OFF position and have received GREAT audio report's.

I also like it's smaller size comparied to other hand mic's and it fit's comfortably in your hand.

Just my 2 cent's worth.

Thanks, I have a friend who has one brand new in the box and is looking to sell or do some trading.
It will probably be one more to add to my collection.
