no audio on am ssb or thru pa i changed the final and the driver and the 7222 audio chip any ideas please thank you

also it dead keys 5watts the mike cord was bad when i got the radio thats what caused the problem

Sure..Most likley the choke ON THE MIKE BOARD (the small one that is mounted to the socket) is open. Remove the board and jumper the choke..Let me know if I hit this one... :)

307 thanks for your help! turned out a wire came off the mike socket never would have found it with out your tip [remove mic socket] thanks again it is sure a great thing to have this forum and you to help us all!
