Wouldn't know why they be going out of business, Not only do they sell for CB but also Ham. I use 2 Wilson antennas right now.
1 for 2 meter mobile and 1 for 10/11 meter mobile.
If you find out more please let us know, I may have to look for another antenna if or when these need replace.

I heard they cant get parts to build the wilson antennas, and might fold, I saw it where a few fellows had called them and all told the same, no parts.

Gentlemen,

After just checking the Barjan website who Owns & Manufacturer's the Astatic, Diesel, Francis & Wilson line of products among other's, I found nothing about Barjan discontinuing the Wilson line of products.

I will give them a call on Monday and if I find out anything different I will post it.

Gentlemen,

Set your fears and the rumors to rest.

Wilson is Not going out of business.

Below is part of the reply that Suzanne (Copper Customer Service) received from Barjan/Wilson today.

Subject: RE: Question
Date: Mon, 16 Feb 2009 10:56:45 -0600
From: xxxxxxxx

To: Suzanne <suzanne@copperelectronics.com>

Suzanne,

Wilson is not going out of business. It's true that we are "out of stock" on some items due to us not being able to obtain all the parts to make the item right now, but that is only temporary.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you,

Lon
