I left this morning going home from George's/ Starface. I started hearing a tapping noice in my car, it was driving me crazy as I couldn't tell where it was coming from. I asked George if he could hear it too coming thru the cell phone. He said a little but couldn't tell what it was as I had the car radio on. He asked me to turn the radio off and once I did the tapping stopped. I told him this, George said turn the radio back on and turn it up loud. I did and the tapping noice came back but was being grounded out by the music. What we found out was the New Boost Mobile i776 was coming over the car radio as I was talking but not as I was listening to George talk to me. George told me it was when I'm talking I'm TX and the car radio was RX me from the Boost Mobile i776. George asked me to ask you guys if this ever happen to you and if so tell us about it. This is new to the both of us. Thank you J Y |

Just guessing here but maybe the Boost phones use a frequency in the 2 meter range. I find it strange that the Boost web site list's them as a Nation Wide Walkie Talkie's rather than cell phone's. I would contact Boost and find out what frequency they use for TX & RX for them and explain the problem you are having. The Boost unit's may not be compatable with some 2 meter or HF frequencies. JUST MY TWO CENTS Don`t know much about cell phone at all could it be that your Boost Mobile i776 has one of those receive & transmite antenns amplifier that when its on near a radio or scanner or any electronic oject it causes electrons which carries a negative charge of electricity. Good luck on finding the solution to the problem Joy & George. George CEF:227 CVC~036 HAM/237 Lewistown,Pennsylvania. |
