I want to trim a K-40 for resonance at 28.400 mhz. Anyone know the amount of inches needed to be trimmed ??

t's going to be trial and error. What would do it start with a replacement stinger made from a wire coat hanger. Start with it abt 6" shorter than th original one and start pruning.

Once you have the length, cut the real about 3" longer and trim it from there.
