Hello,

I'm thinking about getting this connected from copper when i order my rci 2950dx to use with my galaxy echo basestation mic. I read on a thread here that someone said something about their watts going lower and the mic having a hum. Then someone replied if he was using one of these mic adapters.

My question is should i get my galaxy re-wired to a 6 pin adapter or using this 4 to 6 adapter be good to use and will i loose performance by using it?

Nightlinks,

No need to rewire radio.

Just use the Mic connector / adapter.

I have and use all 6 mic adapter's on many different radio's and have never had a problem with any radio.

And they will allow you to leave your radio 100% stock with no modification's.

They are Quick / Simple and Easy to use.

Hope this help's,

I use the same adapter on my 2970(old) and it works fine for me. Never had any problems with the mic adapters from copper...
