The rotary 4 position switch that changes the 10/100/100/5000 watt setting has a broken shaft.
Has anyone had any luck finding a replacement?
Or can someone put me in contact with the company so I can order parts?
I hate to have to throw away a perfectly good meter just because of a switch! Thanks for any help you can offer! |

I know this is a very old thread, but I need repair of my Astatic 600 - 4 position switch broke. Are parts still available or does anyone repair them?

Hi Jon! How is Tennessee treating you? Things are still the same here in Cali. High taxes, high crime in the cities, low morals, etc.
The 4 position switch used in the Astatic meters isn't found in the Mouser catalog any more, it is strictly a proprietary part. Contact them directly, or find a parts unit at the swap meet. That's about it.
