I just bought a 21 ft length of RG-8 and I am not at all impressed. I have a 100 + feet of RG 8 that was bought 27 years ago and has been outside for all that time (from Radio shack no less), it is in better shape than the brand new 21 ft I just bought for jumpers. What's the deal with this inferior coax being sold today.

Radio shack coax .....

Well I measured a 100 ft length of RG8X at 444 mhz and the loss was about 20 DB ......

Other RG8X coax by TIMES was about 10 DB ......
