Is the TB on a knob or a switch. Either way replace the knob or switch with a vol on/off type of knob. That should allow you to turn it off, and adjust it. I have seen this done once or twice, but have never done it on my own radio. But I know it works, might make a good weekend project, good luck!

I have a Stonewall Jackson and I would also like to know how to disable the talkback function. If you turn the echo on the talkback comes on as well. If you turn the echo off the talkback goes off. I would like to use the echo because it sounds great in this radio but not the talkback. Can someone give me an idea of how to do this. Thanks.
