Hello,

The meter light on my 148 GTL went out yesterday :-( I have been wanting to changing it to the blue light. I was wondering is it difficult to change the light bulb on the meter?

No it is not. Simple soldering, you should be able to do it with not much trouble. I like white lights, the blue ones have been done on to many radios. but the LED type of light will last a lot longer. Just be sure to do a neat job, and dive in. That is what the hobby is all about!

Don't forget to include a current limiting resistor in series if changing from incandescent to LED illumination.
