I bought a new wilson 1000 mag mount and when I turn the base with the coil to snug it down to the magnet the wilson 1000 logo is sideways.I have it turned as tight as I can get it so it wont blow off but for some odd reason the logo that says wilson 1000 is way off to the left.I had one of these antennas years ago and the logo was straight when you snugged it down.I know the antenna will work and all but seeing its brand new im not happy with this and im trying to find a way to make it straight so i dont have to take it back,im sure the guy will says big deal it still works doesnt it.Anyone have this problem with a new wilson 1000 mag mount at all?seems very odd.

Ok, I have two different problems but both having to do with my Wilson 1000 Magnet Mount Antenn and my Antron 99. First, my Antron 99, I have it sitting on a my porch attached to a 10 foot piece of pole and a 5 ft tall tripod and the bottom part barely clears the roof of my mobile home but the problem is, for one I live in a mobile home park and about three doors down from the water but I don't get out for some odd reason and the SWR are 1 to 1.5 all the way around and I can hear people but the S meter on my Galaxy DX 959 barely moves though. 2nd Problem, my Wilson 1000 Magnet Mount antenna, I bought it from Coppers and have had it since 2012 and was working fine up until lately for some odd reason when I had my Galaxy DX-959 hooked up to it the radio would work fine when the antenna was on a Toyota Sienna Van and I THOUGHT it was working on our 2010 Nissan Rogue but I've noticed the SWR alert light comes on in the Galaxy DX 959 but the end of the coax is tight and there are no rips or tears or exposed wire on the Wilson 1000 Magnet Mount Antenna, anyone got any ideas on what to do with either the Antron 99 or Wilson 1000 Mag Mount antenna please? Here is the Antron 99 setup too in a pic

Your antron is probably to close to the mobile home and not high enough, and the signal is being somewhat stopped by the mobile home. If it was me I would put it up 10 to 15 feet more, you should see a difference., on the WILSON, check to see if the coax connector on the end has came loose or if you have a meter see if it is grounded, another trick, push in the connector on the end of the pl259 and see if the swr light comes on.

Also run your hand slowly up/down the coax on the WILSON, see if you feel any sharp object on the coax.

On your Wilson antenna how did you run the coax to the radio? Was it through a window or through the door where it close? What I am going to say is most people will pinch the coax and on the outside it will look fine. So this could be one problem.

Ok, I slowly rain my fingers down the coax to see if there was any rips or tears or something and I didn't find one rip or tear in the coax like I did once before here so the next thing that I am gonna check is hook up the radio and see if the light comes on and wiggle the end around while it's hooked up to the Galaxy DX 959 here because this is strange as to what is going on and I'd have to have to go buyh another antenna but I will if need be though

I just checked the Wilson 1000 and I think the antenna is shot because the SWR light comes on all over channels 1 thru 40 when I had it hooked up to the Gaaxy DX 959 and even wiggles the end while it was hooked up so unless I get some help I may have to get another Wilson 1000 here and that doesn't make me happy but oh well

on the wilson DONT trust that ;light. use a
external swr meter to see whats going on.
if possible use a antenna anylizer.
on the a99 i agree its not up high enough.
ideally you want it above all buildings.
if this is not possible id recommend tring
the sirio topone coppers has
