sorry about all the questions,just wont to do it right the first time.My tower will be mounted to my wooden building 10 foot up via metal clamps,should my ground be above this,or still at the tower base?Dont wont lighting running in on my shop!

Where the tower meets the ground, that is where you want to ground it. And, be sure to bond your grounds together too.

Connect all your grounds together using the same kind of wire used to connect to the ground rods (ie- copper).

If you have 3 ground rods, there should be wires connecting all 3 together, and that way you don't get different currents on different ground points. It's also called "common point grounding". Lots of information about it online if you are curious.
