coppers 400 coax is great id definately get some
its double shielded so its made of better quality
remember antenna and coax are the 2 most important things never settle for 2nd best
the 400 would have less loss reguardless of how much ya get/need

Twentynineva,

If you are going to use it on an OMNI antenna it would work great and you should not have any problem's for many many year's.

The PL-259 fitting's will be VERY TIGHT when you screw them on the CA-400 and the use of a vice and channel lock plier's willbe a BIG help.

If you are thinking on using the CA-400 on a BEAM, I would suggest you will need to run the CA-400 from Radio to a Double Female so-239 and then use a short 3' jumper of RG-213 from the Double
SO-239 to a C70-05004 Barrell Connector and then a short jumper of to the antenna. to the Antenna.

The CA-400 is VERY STIFF coax.

In total you would need:

Qty ~ 1 / Copper Part #C70-05004 Barrell Connector

Qty ~ 3 or 4 /Copper Part #A30-05006 Amphenol Brand PL-259

And Qty 1 Copper Part #H00-02002 Coax Seal

Hope this help's,
