I found a Turner Mod. 254C desk mic. It has 3 wires in it 1-RED 2-BLACK 3-CLEAR w/braided shield. Will this mic. work with the Galaxy Melaka? Just out of curiosity are the Galaxy radios,base and mobile,mics. wired the same? THANKS You 2 are underpaid!!!!!!!!

Underpaid? LOL, yeah!

Most all the Galaxy radios are wired the same for mics. You will also find that a mic wired for a Galaxy will fit a lot of other 4-pin radios.

Here's the wiring for your Turner mic with the 4-pin Galaxy radios.

(1) Ground /Shield
(2) Modulation /White
(3) Transmit /Black
(4) Receive / Red
