Right now I am building a 4 band Hex-Beam. Small enough to turn with a small tv rotor, covers 20-6m adn weighs around 10-12 finished. Needs only 12ft to turn, yet has specs that compare with any 3 element yagi.

Total cost around $30, but that was because the bamboo spreaders were free.

I am taking plenty of photos as I go, so that I can create an instruction article later, but just google hex-beam for details.

Simon I like to hear your pro's and con's on the Hex beam your building, I use a Hex on 20-6 meters myself.
