Tech 833, I need some correction. I know that the signal will run a full wave at 36 feet. And I remember that the gpk works well at 30 feet or less on the I max 2000. Just where does one measure the distance from- the base of the antenna to ground or the middle. I know there have been many conversations before but, I have not found the other postings. Sorry to have to ask again but I would be very thankful for a reminder. |

Most folks have always said the base or bottom of the antenna is where you base your distance, but what if it is top radiator? There are varibles. I think if you get the middle part of the antenna somwhere in the wavelength you desire you are in business. But let's let the Tech speak. |

Mike, I found a posting from Dale and the question is the same. The answer was to measure from the bottom of the antenna to the ground. I think Tech 833 will say the same. Thanks Mike for your input. Perhaps this will help other people as well. |
