i have a G5RV jr in my condo attic, i flat topped it but the 5ft i had to run at a 90 degree angle, looking down ( or up )it would appear as a squared C should i have just dropped the ends straight down? |

doesnt matter really, as long as it is reasonably symetrical. I haved both drooping ends and ends that make a C shape.

Like Tech237 says, it doesn't really matter.
You now have what it called a flat top loop.
I myself have not done this as I have all my antennas out doors but others have run a g5rv or any other wire antenna in a dubble inverted ^====^
running the wire across the base of the attic and running up the eves at both ends. now you have a dubble inverted V and if a Jr g5rv isn't long enough you can try a longer g5rv or another dipole. |
