Bought a TS 400DX and have a 45 amp power supply,radio is RCI 3900HP DK 1.5 Swings 35 to 40 ..Just want to make sure power supply is big enough for this amp. Spec says it will pull 40 amps so I should be ok but any input on this would be helpful. thanks Jeff

I think you will be fine on am. If you push it hard on SSB you may see the limits of your power supply.
