Everybody raves about the Philippines 148's. How do the Tiawan and Malasia made ones compare? |

Hello,
I have a 148 fine tuned that I purchased from copper I was told that it sounds good. I'm not sure really where its from because I have it on the rack here my at 20.

I use the 148 from Tiawan, it is an older unit and when I use it, with stock microphone I have heard "I don't know how you can sound better" when getting audio reports. I had a radion technician who I trust "rework" this radio. I have owned many radios that have been good sounding radios, but this is one that I would not sale or trade for another. Very satisfied with this radio. |
