Looking for advice on what beam to get. I have heard good things about the SY27-4 and Copper has a good price on it. This will be my first beam. I'am looking for the one with the best performance. I don't run power so the 1000 watt limit on the SY27-4 4 Element Beam
would be fine. I'am looking to use the beam on 10 meter ham and cb mounted horizontal. I have an Imax 2000 on my tower now. I would mount that above the beam.

Well just my 2 cents worth, I also looked at both and after talking to people that bought both. I was told they both perform fairly equal, but the Sirio is a thinner guage material than the maco.thats why there is a weight difference between them.

So for my money I bought the Maco, very good beam so far.
