I'm getting ready to put my MR-4 back up, I don't like the copper lug on the gamma match where it's a press fit on to the SO-239 connector (pin). When you press the copper lug on the SO-239 pin It's too close to the SO-239 connector bracket (RF Arcing), and it seems like it could fall off easy. Is there any better way to feed the coax from the SO-239 bracket to the gamma match? Thanks...73's

Direct feed- no connector.

1. Use an RG-8 or larger coax cable.
2. Stip the last 2 inches of the coax so you have an inch of center conductor and braid leads.
3. Crimp and solder lugs to the ends of the coax leads.
4. Bolt the coax shield to the boom.
5. Bolt the coax center to the end of the gamma.
