i have a very nice 2517 works great on am & fm the ssb is distorted & scrachy thought it might be the mic tried 3 different ones all the same result thanks for any & all help in advance

the bias is perfect the swr is flat. been running great till about a week ago ssb is scrachy & distorted am & fm are working just fine
