I have a power board in the 2980 that has some burnt areas on it,its the little board to the right of the main transformer that mounts in the big heat sink.The board has a power wire going to it and another wire comming from it going over toward the freq counter.I would like to know what this board powers,someone has cut some things off of this board,maybe some resisters or something,been worked on before by someone.I might add that I just got this radio too.The freq counter is not working either.Maybe I just need to bring down to Coppers and get the hole thing checked out.Thanks guys for any help or ideas with this.73's to ya... |
