Howdy all, looking at purchasing one of these to set up down in the shed as my old CB looks like it's ready to pack it in. Anyone got anything good or bad to say about the Galaxy? First time I've given this brand a second thought.

I've been told by guys that have both the 959 and the 979 that they like the 979 better. I'm thinking of getting one myself. In the car they seem to be tougher too not to mention they take up less space. Some have said the 979 seems to be better on SSB too.

ive heard too the 979 is better on ssb. but ive nver tested one out myself
