Hi, I have an old Major M 588 am/fm/usb/lsb with open clarifier mod 10kc mod and pll chip freqency expansion mod done before it came to me, it has a realy nice RX on LSB but with all the mods done and fitted to its stock switches for other now unuseble features its easy to get lost on the darn thing, I have a good zetagi 7 digit frequency counter sitting doing nothing and it has sniffer leads so would it be possible to wire/tap into the board somewhere so I can read the RX and TX frequency other than setting it up on the coaxial line which reads on TX only?
This chasis is also used on the early Ham Jumbo which has this feature I think?
any help from somebody familiar with this board would be great.
regards
Phil
