i had a astatic power mic i think its a 636 that started smoking when the linear in the mobil was on went and tried a d104m6b and got shocked through the grill is this possible is it the rf ? about 300 watt linear

Yes. It is RF on the mic. This may mean you have a bad ground connection or a broken shield on the coax.

I'm Sure 833 will chim in with other pissibilites

THANKS i found it the jumper between the antenna switching box and amp went bad i guess, i replaced it and all is back and fine thanks for the help
