well tech 307 just plain kicks a$$ . he fixed my totally dead recieve and my 10kc switch on my alan 87!! man i had no clue that 6 diodes and an ic were the problem but he did!! he did a lil tune up i believe on it too and it sounds a lot louder to me with the cobra noise canceling mike on it then when i sent it!!. the recieve now is very good and clear as it should be!! basically this man is the cb guru of repairs!! trust him/ believe him/ worship ( ok maybe to far) him. in other words he GOOD! |

307 is the man!!! I traded for a saturn no tx but did have rx but not very well. Board was torn up bad in the final department all around piece of junk.Sent it to 307 he got it to working but will only dead key 2 watts and swing 8 to 10 wide open. All kinds of thing bad in radio. Does okay with my little box hooked up to it.Thought I might put my 2 cents worth in. thanks 307 you are the man. 307 if you have time tell everybody why it will not dead key anymore than 2 watts. flash |

The reason the power is low is because the last guy that hacked it removed about 50% of all the traces near the final with his 1,000 watt soldering iron and the impedance area's were trashed. I felt lucky I got it that far. As for the RX , the hacker placed 12 volts on the 8 volt line trying to cut the clarifier and desinigrated half the parts.

Ok 307 done me great on my new connex 4800 dxl-e, recieved it was not changed over ar did not have the turbo job done, he offered to help me out and I took him up on it. I can now get all my channels, Adn when it barks in the neighborhood its ready to bite,, There is not another one around here, Thanks to 307, he's th winner,,, DEAN- |
