i am looking at possibly buying a new radio for my mobile .....my old radio has a P.A. jack on the back of it that i use from time to time to mess with my co workers or just have fun with other drivers in traffic ...the radio that i am thinking about buying (magnum raptor 2) does not have a P.A. function but it does have talkback ...my question is there a way to take the wires that lead to the internal speaker for the talkback function and run them to a newly installed jack that would be installed in the radio that would allow me to connect a P.A. speaker turn on/off and control volume of a P.A. speaker from the talkback control on the radio

In short No, or at least not without major mods. Simply, to me, not worth the hassle. Of course it depends on the radio.

FYI carefully using a PA on the road - I am aware of several people who have been fined for doing so, and am surprised, based on the idiot level on the road these days, that no-one has been shot using one.
