Winter time, and BORED... so I dug out my old hobby of CB radios and junk... I forgot I had a Workman Roger K and wanted to install it on a Grant-XL. This Roger K does NOT have a relay on the board.

For some reason this Roger K did not have any instructions with it. Sealed, brand-new, but no instructions.

I dug around the net and I think I found where the wires go and the included resistor (if needed)... but I also ran across threads that suggests I may need a relay if my radio requires the mic plugged in for RX.

My 5-pin Grant-XL REQUIRES the mic to be plugged in to RX, so from what I gather, I should have a relay. Many posts I read suggest this, but so far NONE of them say how to wire that relay? Some threads suggested that Workman included instructions at some point for that relay, but I have not been able to find them.

Does anyone have instructions how to wire that relay in? A quick schematic on a napkin would even do! I'm guessing it goes on the TX/RX wires. I'm sure I could eventually figure it out, but I don't want to fry my radio either by sending juice in the wrong place.

Thanks in advance!Workman_Roger_K
